TONY GIBBONS

Tony's in-depth knowledge of military, navel and aviation subjects within a historical context, and through the medium of countless books and articles, have enabled him to establish an international reputation as a writer and illustrator possessing both panache and accuracy. Working with airbrush and gouache his technique, coupled with his inherent understanding of things technical, have allowed him to expand his interest into areas such as scientific illustration, cut-away illustration and other related subjects. But it's not all straight lines as the samples show. In recent years Tony has engaged in a deal of research resulting in a new-found talent in the illustration of natural history subjects.
